17 Years Old
Being 17 was an odd time, especially with my junior year being entirely online. It was a strange adjustment, but in the end, it paid off academically— my grades improved and I had the flexibility to focus more on school at my own pace. I also spent more time with my family than ever before, and we made some unforgettable memories.
It was also a year where I fully embraced my big hair, a part of me that I had always been self-conscious about in the past. After dyeing it and learning how to style it, I felt a new kind of confidence— like I could finally celebrate this defining feature instead of hiding it. It was a year of small but significant personal growth amidst the chaos.
P.S. This is the year I got my first nose piercing! And my industrial... and my stomach... and my second earlobes.
